Authors: promote your books at NAIBA's Fall Conference
Welcome to the NAIBA Fall Conference, where hundreds of independent booksellers from New York to Virginia come to see the latest releases from publishers.
We recognize that more and more authors are taking the self-published route, and/or must take the marketing and promotion of their titles into their own hands. As independent booksellers, our stores are the natural outlets for these books.
As a service to authors who wish to promote their books, NAIBA has set aside display tables to be used by authors to promote their own titles. There is a small fee of $100 for this communal table. The caveat is that the application must be endorsed by an independent bookseller. It does not have to be from the NAIBA region, but it must be a bricks & mortar independently-owned bookstore (and not a used-bookstore).
We wish you great success with your book, and hope this service will give you incredible exposure to the customers who visit our independent bookstores.
*Note: while soliciting independent bookstores to carry your book, we encourage you to have your own websites link to an independent bookstore for book purchases, or to our independent bookstores' e-retail site, www.booksense.com.
